Nature's Nest Lakeside

Really enjoyed the quietness of the natures nest cabin. Very clean and well equipped for a long weekend trip. Appreciated that Jeff was so easy to reach and prompt with helping us rent the kayaks for our stay. Having the kayaks to use for exploring the marsh wildlife was a nice change of pace for our kids (ages 15 & 12) whom usually spend every minute of the day swimming and enjoying the water on our lake excursions. We especially enjoyed kayaking through all of the marsh trails and really feeling immersed in the natural habitat. This place was perfect for a long weekend trip for our family of 4. Very quiet. Ample bird watching. The most frogs we’ve ever seen. If you have children, highly recommend bringing a small net. They’ll spend hours catching the frogs! Lots of fish that are visible in the clean & shallow water and sunrise views that are definitely worth waking up for.

My family and I came for a 4 day, 3 night stay and it was perfect! 2 other family friends rented out the 2 other cabins next door which made for a fun filled gateway! Jeff is great, super responsive and helpful every step of the way! We look forward to coming back again next summer!

The stay was excellent! Everything is clean and well cared for, the host is helpful, and the space is unique and cozy. Would definitely stay there again.
